U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs

Veteran Affairs

Representatives from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs will be at the Springfield Motorcycle show to meet with military veterans and their family members to assist them with connecting with VA benefits.  There are many types of benefits available through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

VeteranMany veterans may not realize everything that is available to those that have served.  Disability compensation, educational services, health care, loans, and insurance are just a few of the many benefits offered through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

It is important that our veterans know about these programs and that they get the needed assistance to take advantage of them.  If you are a military veteran or a family member of one, be sure to take a moment and stop by the Veterans Affairs booth at the show to talk with the representatives and get the latest information.

The mission of the Department of Veterans Affairs is to fulfill President Lincoln's promise: "To care for him who shall have borne the battle, and for his widow, and his orphan" by serving and honoring the men and women who are America's Veterans.

Doctor

In addition to the representatives from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, outreach specialists with the Veterans Health Administration, representing VA medical centers in central and western Massachusetts, as well as the Springfield Vet Center, which offers readjustment counseling for Veterans, will be in attendance at the show.

Eligible Veterans can even sign up for VA health care right at the show.
